Standing Committee Member Volunteers Print E-mail

Standing committee member volunteers shall meet the following criteria:

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a continuous employee of a current customer of Oracle using the HCM product as a functional or technical resource; or
  • Be a continuous vendor for Oracle HCM products; or
  • Be a continuous professional consultant supporting Oracle HCM products or users.

In order to apply to become a Standing Committee Member Volunteer, please:

  •  Submit a resume and two professional references;
  • Consent to a background check (depending on the volunteer assignment);
  • Sign a conflict of interest statement (to be provided upon receipt of resume and references).

OHUG Participation Requirements

  • Prefer volunteers who have been members of OHUG for a minimum of two years;
  • Prefer volunteers who have attended at least one OHUG conference within the past two years;
  • The first year of service shall be a probationary period;
  • After one calendar year of service, members become official volunteers for a term of two years.

Time Commitment Requirements

  • Be willing to serve for a term of three years (one year as a probationary member and two years as an official member);
  • Be available a minimum of ten hours per month;
  • Attend the upcoming conference immediately after accepting the volunteer role, and volunteer a minimum of fifteen hours during the conference.
